Binghamton University women's soccer player Tracy Kasmarcik (Binghamton, N.Y./Susquehanna Valley) has been named to the 2002 National Soccer Coaches Association of America Northeast Regional Team. A junior forward, Kasmarcik was one of the top six strikers selected from the region, earning second team honors. In BU's fall season, Kasmarcik tallied a team-high 12 goals with six assists for 30 points. She ranked second the America East Conference in goals as well as points per game, and was named first team all-conference. Kasmarcik, who also earned second team all-region honors last year, ranks fourth on BU's all-time scoring list with 95 points (39 goals, 17 assists). The Bearcats went 9-7-2 in 2002, the program's 16th consecutive winning season. |
