| Bearcats defeat Wagner 44-6 in dual meet |

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.-- Led by three pins and a technical fall, Binghamton (5-6) defeated Wagner in a dual meet in Staten Island on Wednesday. "The guys did real well tonight," head coach Mike Fusilli said. "Just off the bus, I was worried that it might take us a while to get our legs but everyone looked good. It was a dominating performance." Sophomore Josh Ruff (Bainbridge, N.Y./ Bainbridge-Guilford) recorded a pin at 141 just 1:42 into his match. At 165, senior Joe Privitere (Johnson City, N.Y.) pinned his opponent 2:34 into the match and at 184, junior Jerome Joe (Wheatley Heights, N.Y.) also pinned his opponent with just 1:42 elapsed. Sophomore Rob Sckalor (Chester, N.Y./ Monroe-Woodbury) recorded a technical fall at 5:00. Although he did not record a pin or technical fall, freshman Derman Lewis (Schenectady, N.Y./ Schalmont) recorded a tough 3-2 decision over the the fifth-ranked wrestler in the CAA at 197. "Derman beat a quality opponent," Fusilli said. "He rolled the heck out of him to get the riding point, which was the difference in the match. It goes to show how much he has improved in one semester." MATCH RESULTS 125
