Bearcats fall at C.W. Post, 15-6

Brookville, N.Y. - Host C.W. Post (3-0) built an 8-1 halftime margin and defeated visiting Binghamton (0-2), 15-6, in a women's lacrosse game Friday afternoon on Long Island.

The Bearcats received two goals and an assist from freshman attack Heather Grosse (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.), and a pair of goals from first-year midfielder Anna Riordan (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.). Sophomore midfielder Lauren Wetherell (Beghpage, N.Y.) chipped in a goal and an assist.

In goal, senior Christa Quon (Vestal, N.Y.) made 24 saves.

The Bearcats next host Siena on March 21 at noon.
