Bearcats drop two games at the Hoo's Who Tournament at Virginia

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA.--In its first day at the Hoo's Who Softball Tournament at the University of Virginia, Binghamton (7-6-1) came up on the short end of a pair of games, losing 4-3 to Seton Hall and 6-2 to Penn State.

In the game against Seton Hall junior infielder Marybeth Yerdon (Lacona, N.Y. / Sandy Creek) went 3-for-3 three with a double and a RBI while sophomore infielder Nicole Vitello (Olean, N.Y./ Olean) went 2-for-2. In the second game, the Bearcats were held to just four hits.

Senior pitcher Michelle Weeks (Bunnell, Fla./ Flagler Palm Coast) was tagged with the loss in both games.
