Immediate Release: April 6, 2006 Syracuse was able to put up three runs up on the board in the top of the second. The Orange followed that up with another six runs in the top of the fourth to push the lead to 9-0. The Orangewomen had five players that collected multiple hit games (14 total). Senior pitcher Alexis Switenko worked all five innings giving up just three hits and striking out five, improving to 7-1 on the season. Binghamton returns to action this weekend when they host Stony Brook in an America East matchup. On Saturday the Bearcats are scheduled to play a doubleheader starting at noon and on Sunday they will play a single game slated to start at noon. |
