Bearcats
fall in eight innings to Central Connecticut in first game of
George Mason Tournament The Blue Devils of Central Connecticut State (2-5) defeated Binghamton (5-5) in each team's first game of the George Mason Patriot Classic in Fairfax, Va. Senior pitcher Mary Karen Wheat (Brockport, N.Y.) entered the game as a reliever in the second inning for the Bearcats, and allowed just one hit the rest of the way.} On Saturday, Binghamton will take on host George Mason at 11 a.m. and face Cleveland State at 1 p.m. The tournament then becomes a single-elimination bracket, with games Saturday night and Sunday. More details on today's game against Central Connecticut will be posted as soon as possible. |
