compete in Cornell's Kane Invitational Complete Meet Results ITHACA, N.Y.--Members of the men's and women's indoor track teams competed in the Kane Invitational at Cornell on Saturday, while other members of the team traveled to the New York City Armory to participate in the Collegiate Open. On the women's side, Binghamton had a pair of winners in the 200 meter dash. Sophomore Heather Tassler (Hartsdale, N.Y.) was a winner in the third section with a time of 26.4, while classmate Nina Minasi (Suffern, N.Y.) crossed in 26.9 to win section 4. Sophomore Jessica Nye (Allegany, N.Y.) and senior Marie Lloyd (Spencerport, N.Y.) were each winners in the triple jump. Nye won section 2 with a leap of 35-10, while Lloyd took section 3 with a mark of 36-5.75. For the men, sophomore Nick Tillman (Binghamton, N.Y.) captured the meet's final event, winning the triple jump with a leap of 6-6. In the weight throw, junior Matty Fuchs (Selden, N.Y.) took first in the event's second flight, winning with a toss of 49-feet, 3.75 inches. Both teams will bring a full squad to the 2003 America East Championship on Friday and Saturday. The meet will be hosted on the campus of Boston University. The indoor track season concludes on March 8-9 with the IC4A/ECAC Championship meet. That meet is held at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.
