Immediate Release: March 5, 2006 Contact: David O'Brian (dobrian@binghamton.edu) Phone: 607-777-6478 Johnson ninth in women's triple jump, Tillman 10th in heptathlon at ECAC/IC4A Indoor Track Championships BOSTON, Mass.-- Sophomore Dayna Johnson (Brentwood, N.Y.) placed ninth in the triple jump and senior Nick Tillman (Binghamton, N.Y.) was 10th in the men's heptathlon. Both athletes just missed earning All-East honors, which are awarded to the top eight finishers in each event. Johnson distance was 38-3 1/2 while Tillman's final score was 4,320 points. Binghamton had ten athletes qualify for the weekend event, the most since the program moved to the NCAA Division I level in 2001. |
