Immediate Release: May 15, 2005 Contact: David O'Brian (dobrian@binghamton.edu) Phone: 607-777-6478 Angell places eighth in 10,000 at ECAC/IC4A Championships PRINCETON, N.J.--Junior Erica Angell (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) placed eighth in the women's 10,000, highlighting the Binghamton's performance at the ECAC/IC4A Championships in Princeton, N.J. this past weekend. Angell's time was 36:23.42. Also on the women's side, fellow junior Stacy Kramer (Loudonville, N.Y.) was 18th in the 5,000 (17:25.55). On the men's side, senior Neil Case (West Winfield, N.Y.) had the eighth-fastest time in the 400 hurdles (52.76) in the prelminaries. He was unable to compete in the finals the following day because of his graduation ceremony. Case will compete in the 400 hurdles at the NCAA East Regional in two weeks as the America East Champion. |
