Immediate Release: April 10, 2006 Senior Richemn Mourad (Sao Paulo, Brazil) posted a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles and sophomore Faisal Mohamed (Lynbrook, N.Y.) scored a commanding 6-2, 6-2 win at fourth singles. With BU trailing 3-2, the two deciding singles matches each went to a third set, but Stony Brook won both for the final margin. "Richemn played a great match," head coach Michael Starke said. "He could be the Player of the Year in the conference. But I was greatly disappointed in our lack of execution in doubles." Binghamton next hosts Fairleigh Dickinson on April 18. DOUBLES |
