As a Junior (2004-05): Went 22-6 in singles, mostly as the No. 4 or No. 6 singles player...won 12 of last 14 singles matches...went 3-0 at Bloomsburg Inviational and 1-1 at Cornell Invitational...named first-team all-conference singles and to the all-tournament team in the America East...won the No. 6 singles match 6-2, 2-6, 6-0 to clinch victory against the College of Charleston...went 16-11 in doubles competition...teamed with Hanegby to make to the round of 16 at the ITA Northeast Regional.

Sophomore Season (2003-04): Played pivital role during BU’s conference championship and NCAA tournament run ... produced 44 combined singles and doubles wins ... his 72% win percentage was second-best on team ... earned all-conference accolades for second straight year with undefeated doubles play at tournament ... with Edwin Gerard scored crucial 9-7 win at third doubles against Stony Brook in 4-3 title-match triumph ... also toppled UMBC in singles and doubles to key BU’s semifinal upset ... went undefeated at Bloomsburg Invitational and at Army Duals.

Freshman Season (2002-03): Jumped into starting lineup and produced 16 dual wins — second-most on team ... played third, fourth and fifth singles ... won nine of last 10 singles matches including back-to-back wins in America East Championship.

Before College: Ranked No. 35 in the 2001 East Boys 18’s while playing for Iona Prep ... ranked #220 in nation ... played six years of varsity at #1 and #2.

Personal: Born January 31, 1984 ... parents are Thomas and Joanmarie O’Connor ... grandfather Bill Tully was top-50 ranked player in world ... mother was Brian’s high school coach ... majoring in economics.
