player...won 10 of his last 12 matches...named first-team all-America
East...named Most Outstanding Player at the America East Championship
and to the all-tournament team...pulled out a 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory
against Stony Brook in the conference championship match...was
3-0 at the Bloomsburg Invitational...went 17-6 in double competition...teamed
with Gerard in the decisive double match against Stony Brook
in conference championship.
Sophomore Season (2003-04): Played pivotal role
in BUs run to America East championship and NCAA berth
... won 39 combined singles and doubles matches from second position
... scored key doubles win in America East tournament upset of
UMBC ... had strong singles wins over Colgate and Manhattan during
spring ... went 13-5 in doubles duals ... teamed with Edwin Gerard
to reach A flight doubles final at Cornell Invitational.
Freshman Season (2002-03): Played fourth and fifth
singles for Division I Racers ... posted 11-6 overall record,
including 5-1 mark in Ohio Valley Conference matches ... won
his last five matches of season ... also played doubles ... went
6-10 splitting between second and third spots ... team was conference
runner-up.
Before College: Ranked in top-25 in Brazil for juniors
in 2000 and 2001 ... also ranked as high as 16th in doubles ...
