As a Junior (2004-05): Went 16-4 in doubles competition,
mostly at the No. 3...Named first-team all-America East in singles...went
13-7 as mostly a No. 5...won eight straight singles matches,
all in straight sets, from March 21 to April 19...participated
in nine straight doubles wins from Feb. 20 to March 23.
Sophomore Season (2003-04): Won 16 singles matches
primarily at No. 5 spot ... went undefeated in both singles and
doubles at America East Championship, earning all-conference
honors ... scored decisive singles win in 4-3 title victory over
Stony Brook ... rallied from set down to pull out 2-6, 6-3, 6-4
victory ... earlier helped BU take crucial doubles point with
9-7 win at No. 3 ... also won twice in Bearcats 4-1 upset
of top-seeded UMBC in semifinals ... teamed with Richemn Mourad
to earn runner-up A flight honors at Cornell Invitational.
Freshman Season (2002-03): Entered school in January and
enjoyed strong spring season in starting lineup ... posted 6-8
record at No. 3 singles ... posted pair of crucial victories
against Stony Brook in regular season and later in America East
championship match ... also went 7-3 at third doubles .
Before Binghamton: Ranked No. 14 in East Boys 18s
and No. 288 nationally.
Personal: Born March 8, 1984 ... parents are Sumner
