Bearcats impressive at Bloomsburg Invitational At Bloomsburg, BU had a strong showing in the round-robin format. The Bearcats won all six singles matches against Quinnipiac, won six of eight against Villanova, and won four of seven played against Bloomsburg. Binghamton also won seven of nine doubles matches in the two-day format. Junior second singles player Brad Davidoff (Roslyn) went 3-0, including a 6-3, 2-6, 1-0 (10-8) win against the host school. Junior Ryan Rosenthal (Laverock, Pa./Cheltenham) and freshman Joe Caiello (East Syracuse/East Syracuse-Minoa) also went 3-0 at fourth and sixth singles, respectively. Senior captain and top singles player Dmitriy Litvak (Bronx/The Dwight School) went 2-1, losing only to Bloomsburg’s top player in a third-set super tiebreak, 14-12.
