Junior Chris McGuire (Essex, England) was a triple winner on the men's side while sophomore Huijue Cai (Shanghai, China) and junior Yun Qu (Hangzhou, China) each won twice on the women's side, as Binghamton split a dual meet against Towson today at West Gym Pool. The women (3-0) beat Towson (2-1) 125-114 while the men (2-1) lost a heartbreaker to Towson (3-0) 120-112.

"Today was an amazing day for the women's team," head coach Benji DeMotte said. "We have never been within 60 points of Towson so to do what we did today was a big surprise."

McGuire captured the 200 IM (1:57.06), the 200 fly (1:53.71) and the 200 breast (2:07.21). His times in the latter two events were pool records. Cai captured both the 500 and 1000 with pool-record times of 5:08.15 and 10:35.09 respectively. Qu won the 200 fly (2:01.68) and the 200 IM (2:10.21).
