Immediate Release: October 15, 2005 Contact: David O'Brian (dobrian@binghamton.edu) Phone: 607-777-6478 Binghamton men's soccer falls 1-0 at New Hampshire Box score DURHAM, N.H.--Eric Masi scored off a corner kick with 13:47 remaining in the second half, leading New Hampshire (8-3-1, 1-3-1 AE) to a 1-0 win over Binghamton (9-4-1, 2-2-0 AE) in an America East Conference game on Saturday night. The loss marks the first time in five games that the Bearcats have been defeated by the Wildcats. "Hats off to New Hampshire," head coach Paul Marco said. "Physically and psychologically, they outcompeted us tonight. The goal they scored was a great goal off a set piece." |
