Men's
soccer starts fast, defeats Stony Brook 2-0 STONY
BROOK, N.Y.--Two goals within the first 7:02 of the game proved
to be enough for the Binghamton men's soccer team (9-2-4, 3-1-2
AE) to beat Stony Brook (3-11-1, 1-5-0 AE) 2-0 in an America
East Conference soccer game on Wednesday afternoon at University
Field. With the win, Binghamton extends its unbeaten run to eight
games, having gone 5-0-3 during that span. In addition, the Bearcats
posted their 11th shutout of the season, which ties the school
record set by the 1984 team and later equaled by the 1986 squad. |
