ORONO, MAINE--The Binghamton men's soccer team (5-10, 2-5 AE) lost to Maine (2-10, 1-6 AE) in an America East men's soccer game in Orono, Maine on Sunday. The lone score of the game came when Maine was credited with an own goal at the 84:05 mark. Maine outshot Binghamton 12-10. For the Bearcats, junior goalie Ian Wendel (Sparta, N.J.) had six saves. "Maine is a better team than their record indicates," head coach Paul Marco said. "I wouldn't say we were outplayed today but we were definitely outworked." Binghamton travels to Buffalo on Thursday at 7 p.m. |
