MEN'S SOCCER
Bearcats fall to Stony Brook 1-0

Vestal, N.Y. — Junior midfielder Jamie Gaither scored midway through the first half, leading Stony Brook (2-0-1) to a 1-0 win at Binghamton (0-4) in men’s soccer action today. The two teams were originally scheduled to play yesterday, but the game was postponed due to the national tragedies.
Gaither took a pass from teammate Jude Osei Bonsu, broke in front of the Binghamton goal and slid the ball into the net at the 20:59 mark. Although the host Bearcats outshot the Seawolves 10-8, they were unable to get the equalizer.
Senior goalie Gianni Di Ciollo (Staten Island, N.Y./ Mgr. Farrell) made four saves for Binghamton. Stony Brook goalie Dan Ferrin made a pair of saves.
