Binghamton outshot Buffalo 11-9 and led in corner kicks 12-4 but were unable to come up with the game winner. "This was a game where we did not get the goals we created," head coach Paul Marco said. "Buffalo is a good team but we had plenty of opportunities, especially on corner kicks, to score more than we did." Also named to to all-tournament team along with Arnault were senior forward Charles Darkwah (Toronto, Ontario/Bathulst Heights), junior midfielder Danilo (Sao Paulo, Brazil/The Interlagos School) and junior back Graham Munro (Inverness, Scotland/Invergordon). Up next for Binghamton is Wednesday's home opener against undefeated St. Bonaventure at 4 p.m. at West Gym Field. "Wednesday is going to be a great game," head coach Paul Marco said. "St. Bonaventure is going to be one of the best teams we'll face all year." NOTE: Dating back to last season, Binghamton has now gone 25 consecutive games without allowing a first-half goal ... the next NSCAA/adidas poll will be released on Tuesday afternoon. |
