Wioncek (Beverly, Mass) is currently ranked No. 13 in the nation in face-off win percentage. Through April 9, he won 94 of 162 draws (58.0 percent), which is the highest rate of any freshman on the NCAA Division I level. "J.P. is one of the primary reason we have gotten off to such a good start," head coach Ed Stephenson said. "Because of him, we have won 25 percent more (draws) this year. He is only going to get better." Binghamton (6-3, 2-0 AE) continues to receive votes in both the USILA/STX and Inside Lacrosse Top 20 Polls. The Bearcats host No. 15 UMBC on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the East Gym Complex. |
