On Groh: Returns from medical red-shirt season ... once completely healthy, should return to conference rotation.

As a Sophomore (2005): Pitched three games before being forced to set out rest of the season with a injury ... was 1-1 with a 4.02 ERA ... gave up one earned run in seven innings against Norfork State ... allowed one earned run against Delaware State in five innings ... registered 15 strikeouts in 15.2 innings.

As a Freshman (2004): Made 12 appearances with six starts ... led BU starters with four wins ... produced team-high 45 strikeouts ... ranked ninth in America East in strikeouts per nine innings (8.44) ... was 3-0 with one save in relief ... ended season by allowing just four earned runs in last 17.1 innings ... two-hit conference champion Stony Brook on final weekend ... struck out nine and allowed one earned run in 6.1 innings against Vermont ... also beat Pace, UMBC and Maine ... had 27 strikeouts and four walks in final six appearancees.

In High School: Two-year standout at The Perkiomen School in Reading, Pa. ... led team to back-to-back league championships ... twice named all-league ... as a junior went 8-1 with a 0.59 ERA ... struck out 66 in 59.3 innings ... was rated the 17th best high school prospect in Pennsylvania by Baseball America ... captain as senior ... got off to 7-0 start with 56 strikeouts and 1.00 ERA in 42.0 innings ... also played third and first base ... earned two letters in cross country.
