For Immediate Release: September 27, 2005 Contact: John Hartrick (hartrick@binghamton.edu) Phone: 607-777-6800 Binghamton University baseball to host 4th Annual Scout Day Photos VESTAL, N.Y. -- For the fourth straight year, Binghamton University will host a Baseball Scout Day, scheduled for Tuesday, October 11 at the NYSEG Stadium. With several Major League Baseball scouts expected to be in attendance, head coach Tim Sinicki’s squad will begin its workout at 4 p.m. The workout will include position players running the 60-yard dash; position players fielding and throwing from predetermined areas; pre-game infield/outfield; catchers throwing to second base; and bullpen sessions for the pitchers. In the last four years, three Bearcats baseball players have signed professional contracts (Jeff Montani, Tim Macko, David Eagan).
