For
Immediate Release: June 7, 2005 Albany won the competition with 380 points, moving past Boston University (368) and Binghamton (357) in the spring. Maine (332) and Northeastern (316) rounded out the top five. Spearheading Binghamton's rise in the standings were its three conference championship teams - women's soccer, men's tennis and golf. Runnerup performances by men's soccer, men's swimming and diving and women's tennis also provided a boost in points. In addition, volleyball, baseball and men's lacrosse advanced to their respective conference tournaments with top-four finishes. After placing ninth in the 2002-03 Commissioner's Cup - it's first full year in the conference - BU jumped up to fourth last year. The final 2004-05 Commissioner's Cup standings are below.
