For the men, BU was led by its 4 x 800 relay team, which won the race and qualified for the IC4A Championship, May 17-19 at Princeton University. The quartet of seniors Kevin Kirk and Steve Reese, junior Frank Savinon and freshman Travis von Staden crossed in 7:42.21. Junior Gabe Fletcher was second in the hammer throw (169-feet-10), fourth in the shot put (49-10) and fourth in the discus (145-6).
