17th Annual BUAC Golf Tournament raise support for Annual Scholarship Fund

The 17th edition of the Binghamton University Athletic Club Golf Tournament took place yesterday at the Links of Hiawatha Landing in Apalachin, NY. This year’s event had 268 participants between the morning Captain and Crew and the afternoon two best ball tournaments. This was the largest field in the history of the event and featured a $5,000 putting contest, silent auction, Clams, spiedies and lots of fun. Although the afternoon event was shortened due to rain, it was a great day for the Athletics Department. We would especially like to thank our major sponsors, Hinman Howard & Kattell, LLP; IBM Corp; Creative Printing; Mang Insurance/ Mirabito Fuel and Cingular Wireless. Additionally a special thank you to Sodexho Campus Services for donating a significant amount of food on the course and the University Bookstore that provided the tee gift for all participants.
